VASP Working Group
The VASP Working Group represents the interests of Australia’s registered exchanges and custodians, driving engagement with government and regulators to ensure a fit-for-purpose licensing and compliance framework. Its focus includes supporting the transition to Treasury’s new regime and preparing members for regulatory implementation.

Digital Asset Working Group
The Digital Asset Working Group advocates for clear, innovation-supportive regulation of tokenised assets and related infrastructure. Areas of focus include asset classification, custody, and standards for infrastructure interoperability.

Artificial Intelligence Working Group
The Artificial Intelligence Working Group explores responsible AI development, ethical standards, and integration of AI across Australia’s digital economy. The group’s goal is to support innovation while safeguarding accountability and trust.

Banking, Payments & Stablecoins Working Group
This group focuses on payment rails, digital banking, and the growing role of stablecoins in financial infrastructure. It aims to strengthen collaboration between digital asset providers, fintechs, and financial institutions.

Security Working Group
The Security Working Group focuses on digital identity, cybersecurity, scams, data protection, and blockchain auditing. For FY25, its work will centre on digital identity frameworks and coordination with national initiatives in trust and authentication.

Tax Working Group
The Tax Working Group engages with the ATO, Treasury, and industry to promote fair and practical tax treatment of digital assets. For FY25, its focus is on Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) and guidance supporting compliant crypto asset investment.

Trade Digitalisation Working Group
This specialised working group drives trade digitalisation by integrating blockchain tracking and digital identity solutions to modernize global supply chains. By establishing secure, interoperable standards, the initiative aims to eliminate paper-based friction and enhance end-to-end transparency across international trade networks.

Women of DECA Working Group (WoDECA)
