Trade Digitalisation Working Group

Working Group Mandate

This specialised working group drives trade digitalisation by integrating blockchain tracking and digital identity solutions to modernize global supply chains. By establishing secure, interoperable standards, the initiative aims to eliminate paper-based friction and enhance end-to-end transparency across international trade networks.

Leadership Team

DECA’s Working Groups are led by experienced industry practitioners who bring deep subject matter expertise and a strong understanding of Australia’s regulatory, commercial, and technical landscape.

Working Group leaders guide discussion, set priorities in line with each group’s mandate, and help translate industry insight into practical outcomes. They work closely with the DECA team to ensure member perspectives inform advocacy, policy engagement, education initiatives, and broader ecosystem development.

Leadership roles are focused on stewardship and coordination, supporting constructive collaboration across members, regulators, government, and the wider digital economy.
